Customer Service Representative - Panelization

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our panelization company. This role involves providing exceptional support to our clients by addressing inquiries, coordinating orders, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate is organized, has strong communication skills, and possesses a solid understanding of construction or panelization processes.

Responsibilities

  •  Client Support: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing information about panelized products and services.
  • Order Coordination: Process client orders, confirm order specifications, and collaborate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Project Tracking: Monitor the progress of ongoing projects, provide clients with regular updates, and proactively address any issues that may arise.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, orders, and project details, ensuring all relevant information is accessible for internal teams.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve client issues related to orders, delivery timelines, and product specifications, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our panelized construction products to effectively assist clients with technical or product-specific inquiries.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, fostering trust and promoting repeat business.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather client feedback and relay it to relevant departments to help improve product quality, customer service, and overall client experience.

Requirements

  •  Experience: 2+ years of experience in customer service, ideally within the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of panelized or prefabricated construction is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn and explain technical details related to panelization processes and products.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or vocational training in a related field is a plus.
