Estimator - Panelization (STACK Software)

 We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator experienced with STACK software to join our team specializing in panelized construction. This role involves analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting the sales and production teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction estimation, panelization processes, and proficiency in using STACK for digital takeoffs. 

Full/Part Time

•  Project Estimation: Prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates for panelized construction projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
• Digital Takeoffs: Utilize STACK software to perform digital takeoffs from blueprints and architectural plans, ensuring accuracy in measurements and materials.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze costs for labor, materials, and subcontractor pricing, identifying potential savings and areas for efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, production, and project management teams to provide clear, detailed estimates aligned with client needs and project goals.
• Proposal Development: Compile estimates into formal proposals and present cost breakdowns and scope details to sales or directly to clients as required.
• Database Management: Maintain and update an organized database of materials, labor rates, and subcontractor information within STACK to ensure up-to-date cost accuracy.
• Project Documentation: Ensure that all estimates and project-related documents are well-documented, organized, and accessible for future reference.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about current material costs, labor rates, and industry trends to provide competitive and accurate pricing.

•  Experience: 3+ years of experience in construction estimation, preferably in panelization or prefabricated construction.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in STACK software for digital takeoffs is required.
• Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of panelized construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and present information to clients.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
