Finance Coordinator - Panelization

Job Summary

We are seeking a Finance Coordinator to support our panelization company’s financial operations. This role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with budgeting and financial reporting, and working closely with project teams to track and manage project finances. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance or accounting, strong attention to detail, and experience in construction or manufacturing finance.

Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments to vendors, and ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • Budget Tracking: Assist in tracking project budgets, monitor expenses, and work with project teams to control costs and identify potential overruns.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports, including budget variance analysis, cash flow, and expense tracking.
  • Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing by tracking hours and ensuring accurate payments for project and field staff.
  • Project Cost Analysis: Review and analyze project costs to ensure accuracy, profitability, and alignment with budget projections.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized records of financial transactions, contracts, and project expenses for accurate and up-to-date financial documentation.
  • Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on invoicing issues, discrepancies, and payment terms to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within construction or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with panelization or prefabricated construction finance is a plus.
  • Financial Software Skills: Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to review and interpret financial data accurately.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with project teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
